Watering your garden from a hosepipe or irrigation system uses a lot of water – typically 1000 litre per hour. A single 800L tank is therefore not going to be enough for regular watering unless it rains every day. These tanks though can be inter-connected to multiply their capacity.
This property used five 800L slimline tanks along a back wall to give 4000L of holding capacity. At only 500mm in diameter, the tanks to not require much space. In fact, this installation tucked underneath the eaves of the shed. Much more convenient that one large diameter tank.
