The Brief
This mosaic benchtop had seen decades of use and was showing its age. The grout between the tiny mosaic tiles was heavily discoloured and stained by years of soap, toothpaste, and other bathroom products. Scrubbing didn’t help; grout is porous, and once stains sink in, they’re nearly impossible to remove with ordinary household cleaners. Once a bright and stylish feature, the benchtop had become a dull, stained mess.
The client wanted a solution that would restore the bathroom benchtop without the cost and hassle of a full replacement.
