This was a large home with a mixture of brick, weatherboard and hardiplank cladding. The bottom had been painted to match the stain so created a large stain coloured wall with no contrast, and blue accented fascias.
We helped to advise on colour combinations using a darker contrast colour on the bottom story and matching fascias. A special sealing primer was recommended and applied over the existing oil stain so that acrylic paint could be used.
This had a dramatic effect on the overall look of the house, really modernising the exterior. The homeowners were pleasantly shocked with the results we achieved, and the painted surfaces will last a lot longer than the original stained ones.
